Sam and I met at GSK where we worked very closely for about 2 and a half years. She was the lead project manager for a very important project. Those who truly knew Sam were likely well aware of how smart she was but also how stubborn she could be at times! Sam and I didn’t always agree and she worked very hard to prove her point, even when it was a losing battle. But at the end of the day, Sam didn’t let anything bother her and kept on track with what’s next on the list. I admired her sense of duty to the project and her courage to take on such an enormous responsibility. Although our encounter was very brief, I will always remember the time we worked together, about our chit chats about her pets, about her engagement, about her trip to Japan, about buying her first home… Sam was taken so soon and she will be missed.
